Ramboll’s CSR committee in India have run, and continue to run, various initiatives across India to support the underprivileged in the society through these tough times. To mark Ramboll’s 75th anniversary, the CSR committee enabled the continuation of education for children across different rural districts in India.

The recent implementation of the Law on The Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution from Solid Waste focuses on improving long-term mechanisms for the prevention and control of environmental pollution from solid waste and protects the ecological environment. Avertas Energy is Australia’s first large-scale energy from waste facility under construction in Kwinana, south of Perth. Once operational in 2021, the facility will recover resources and energy from municipal and commercial waste and has the potential to reduce CO₂ emissions by at least 200,000 tonnes per annum.
