At the Construction Week Awards 2021 ceremony held recently in Dubai, Ramboll's Senior Sustainability Consultant, Ishan Kalra, was crowned 'Rising Star of the Year' for 2021.

Featured in the recent CTBUH Journal, Ali Amiri and Neshat Sakeena outline how optimising various structural concrete elements of high-rise towers could contribute to significant carbon savings.

In 2016, the Kigali Amendment was adopted in Rwanda, incorporating hydrofluorocarbons into the Montreal Protocol on Ozone Depletion Substances. The amendment took effect in China on September 15, 2021. Read more in the September issue of China Update

Currently in its 15th iteration, the 2021 MEP Middle East Awards highlight the excellence in MEP design and installation underpinning iconic projects contributing to the evolving and rapidly maturing construction landscape in the UAE. This year, the ceremony will be conducted in Dubai at the JW Mariott Marquis Hotel on 28 September.
