Ramboll Foundation visit India offices
Visiting India for the first-time last week, members of the Ramboll Foundation along with the Group Executive Board, had the opportunity to interact with employees in India.
While addressing employees at the townhalls in Gurugram and Hyderabad, Flemming Bligaard Pedersen, Chairman of the Ramboll Foundation, shared an overview of the Foundation and spoke about the company’s legacy and culture.
Flemming also shared how Ramboll has grown from a few employees that could sit around a table, discuss and take key decisions, to a company that today employs more than 15,500 employees spread across 300 offices in 35 countries. He emphasised the strong philosophy upon which Ramboll is built.
Ramboll’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Jeff Gravenhorst, gave an overview of the business and how values and commitment play a role in being regarded as a leading sustainable society consultant.
The Foundation also spent time interacting with young talent in both the Gurugram and Hyderabad offices and learned more about the projects being undertaken in India.
About Ramboll Foundation
Ramboll Foundation is the majority owner of Ramboll Group A/S and owns more than 97.7% of the shares with the remainder owned by Ramboll employees. It is an independent Danish enterprise foundation and was established in 1972 to safeguard the long-term financial continuance and development of Ramboll for the benefit of employees and the society at large.
The Ramboll Foundation ownership reflects the ambition of the founders Borge Ramboll and Johan Georg Hannemann to create a company where revenue is re-invested into the company’s continued development, and where employees can feel a strong sense of ownership.
