Pankaj Sachdeva talks about Telecom Industry trends at the ‘Arthashastra’ Leadership Talk Series

Speaking about the recent consumer trends in the telecom industry, at his alma mater, Pankaj explained, “Today the mobile device has become a gateway to access myriad services including banking, social networking, travel, entertainment and e-commerce etc., therefore, in a country like India that is adapting to technological growth at a very fast pace, the potential for telecom industry is immense. However, with new entrants in the market offering competitive pricing and services, leading to declining revenues and profits, the key challenge for industry players is to ensure business sustainability, while offering best in class services to the customer”.
To the young students, Pankaj also mentioned, “For those who wish to pursue a career in the telecom industry, it is a great opportunity as we foresee an unprecedented data demand and hyper-consumption in coming years.”
