The Makers District, UAE

Will become one of Abu Dhabi’s most iconic and vibrant residential communities. The team were challenged to construct a development that excels in liveability, cost-efficiency and simultaneously corresponds to the Estidama sustainability initiative. The first phase comprises of 13 different buildings ranging from mid to 24 storey high rise and a built-up area of circa 390,000 sqm    

Groundwater Exploration in the Emirate of Dubai

Ramboll’s experience in the successful completion of the feasibility study at Liwa Oasis contributed to Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) appointing Ramboll to perform a groundwater survey, using non-intrusive methods, to check and assess the potentiality of Dubai aquifers to store and naturally desalinate the sea water.

The Green Planet

A landmark enclosed bio-dome ecosystem housing some 3,000 plants and animals invites visitors to discover the wonders of a tropical rainforest.

Ferrari World

Award winning development covering  25 sq km  contains a Formula 1 track, hotels and a retail centre.  Ramboll developed a flexible approach to engineering so we could meet the programme challenges. Our early involvement with the theme park focused on the schematic design of its 90,000 sqm roof.

Six-Lane Greenfield Agra-Lucknow Expressway, India

Regarded as India’s longest greenfield expressway, the Agra-Lucknow expressway will minimise travel time between major cities in Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states.  

Urban liveability calls for urgent action

Sometimes doing nothing can be the most costly option – both in environmental and financial terms. Representing 3.5 million residents, Jeddah officials have realised that swift action is needed to make the city more liveable in the future. Ramboll established a cost-benefit analysis and crafted a masterplan to ensure future sustainable development for Jeddah.

Detailed Design of Eastern Peripheral Expressway

The Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) is a 135 km long, six-lane highway passing through the states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Hub Zero Dubai

Appointed as the lead design consultant for this project, Ramboll provided the multi-disciplinary engineering services as well as validated and optimised the initial design and reviewed the constructability that have enabled the client to create a vibrant environment that invites visitors to “live the game”.

Sahar Hotel, Mumbai

Flexible designs for five-star hotel, office and retail complex on airport site.

Ganga Path Green Highway, India

The Ganga Path will ease the heavy traffic congestion on the roads from east to west of Patna and not only give a beautiful riverfront but boost the economic activities of the area.
