For a large oil company, Ramboll has conducted two health studies to assess the effectiveness of a residential lead abatement program in a community around a mining site.

Our experts partnered with the local health department to utilise an existing blood lead database with more than 6,000 samples collected from 2003 to 2017 to assess blood lead changes over time on a neighbourhood basis and in comparison with other populations of young children.

Recommendations were made for continuing and improving the highly effective program.
